Consulting and Information Center for Persons with Addiction Disorders

The project purpose: to create a model of a low-barrier consultation room for persons with addiction disorders.

• We work out a model of a Consulting and Information Center for everyone, who is interested in its further usage
• We inform population and experts about the problems of addictive behavior.
• Close cooperation (network creation) with the organizations dealing with problems HIV and AIDS.
• We improve professional competence of experts (help for people with addiction disorders)
• We make our help more available for the addicted persons and their relatives (low-barrier help).
• We help to create alternative methods to “12-step-by-step groups of mutual aid”, trying to follow the example of groups "Kreuzbund" («Cross Union»).
• We give objective information, because we are independent of medical and rehabilitation institutions.
• We make contact with various organizations. That will lead to cooperation and formation of help systems in the future.
• All together these articles will also solve the problems of primary prevention of addictive behavior.
